I have always loved surface; that sense of the tangible in combination with an elusive quality. My work strives to fuse the external world with the internal, to be both ambiguous and harmonious, to try and unite order and chaos. In particular, I’m drawn to that space between these dichotomies to reach a reconciliation. My ‘Life During Corona‘ paintings represent my seeking joy, escape, and expression during the pandemic. Using color, forms, and intuition, I navigated the changes in my daily life and found avenues for joy and solace.
